About Me
Kimberly Hammer, VMD
Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine
Small Animal Internal Medicine
I am a native New Englander who did my undergraduate degree at Tufts University. I was transplanted to the Philadelphia area for veterinary school in 1996 and never left. I graduated University of Pennsylvania 2000, spent a year at Mississippi State University for a small animal rotating internship and returned to University of Pennsylvania for small animal internal medicine residency. I achieved board certification in small animal veterinary internal medicine in 2004. I then settled into private referral practice for 20 years where I not only practiced internal medicine, but my curiosity led me to running the volunteer blood bank and establishing an interventional radiology and endoscopy program. With15 years of ultrasound experience and 20 years of internal medicine experience, I now bring these skills to your practice. When not puzzling over complex cases, I can be found on the slopes snowboarding, at the shore, at a Flyers game, or traveling.
